When Face ID Gave Up 🐯
At a birthday party, the birthday kid’s mom asked for a full tiger face painting — and she loved the result!
The only problem? When it was time to pay, her phone didn’t recognize her face anymore. Face ID took one look at the tiger and said, “Nope.”
Lesson learned: sometimes even smartphones need a backup plan!

Lost in Holiday Inn Express 🏨
A client called to book face painting for a Halloween party and mentioned staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Route 39. I thought, “Which Chicago suburb is that?”
He laughed, “Chicago? I think it’s pretty far - we came all the way to Virginia!”
Turns out the same hotel name exists on Route 39 in both Illinois and Virginia - a funny little mix-up!

A Familiar Face… Kind Of 🥳
At one of the parties, a mom brought her daughter over for face painting and asked me, “Do you recognize her?”
I looked carefully at the girl and thought... hmm, not really.
Then the mom smiled and said, “You did face painting and balloons at her 1st birthday party - and now she’s 8 years old!”
Well... she had changed just a little bit since then :)
Moments like this remind us how special it is to be part of family celebrations, and how lovely it is to be remembered over the years!
